Ministry Stories
Lutheran Ministry Foundation's mission is to "assist Lutherans in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ." In fulfilling that mission, LMF has reviewed hundreds of grant applications requesting in excess of $3,400,000. The applications which have been approved have resulted in awards of $250 to $75,000 being made to a variety of ministries to help spread the Gospel.
Below are a few examples of the types of ministries which LMF has been blessed to provide grant awards.
Education Grant Award
LMF awarded $15,000 to Trinity Lutheran Church of Fremont, Nebraska, to establish a special education program at the elementary school operated by Trinity. The program is among the first of its kind in Lutheran elementary schools in the United States.
