Who We Are

The mission and purpose of Lutheran Ministry Foundation is to assist Lutherans in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, by sharing those blessings which God has so graciously bestowed upon us. Established in 1981, LMF is a ministry of The Nebraska District of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod.

LMF fulfills its mission and purpose through charitable grants to tax-exempt organizations whose purposes and activities are consistent with the Lutheran faith (ministries).

At the same time, LMF provides both an opportunity and a means for individuals to assist with the changing needs of the Lutheran faith as the Good News is shared with all people.
